Buckingham Palace, London (2001)

Welcome to the SC Singers' website! The Singers first started in the 1940s, but student interest in the extracurricular activity and its travel schedule was waning, until about 1995. The rejuvenated group has performed along the East Coast and in Canada, as well as London, Dublin, and Paris.

As time progressed, those involved in the extracurricular activity have become a close-knit family. Chorale Director Cathy Schane-Lydon even considers herself to be the matriarch of the group. We wouldn't have it any other way, as we still feel like family even years after graduation and in some cases miles apart.

You will find on this website many memories you hold dear. They all will make you smile; a few will make you tear. From New York City and Niagra Falls to Washington, DC. From Silver Bay and Montreal to Paris and Ireland overseas, remember as you view these pages how together we all grew - close as friends, singers, classmates, and of course adventurers too. This website is a reflection of the times, the people, the activities, and the places. Memories have been made that we won't soon forget, and some choices were made that we may soon forget. We Singers took pictures all in a clutter. Conquering faultering fears and poison peanut butter. We tackled webs and newspapered doors. We took pictures with Regis and met Eve on TRL. Your mission if you choose to accept...is to fill the photo albums with those you have kept. This website is for thoughts, news, and scrap. Things you found funny and maybe even some sentimental crap. Please add to this website so we can all have a look. To these requests I ask that you yield. Be this thy task o' mighty Springfield.
